Cleaning windscreens

What's good for cleaning windscreens?

Nothing I've tried can recreate the 'windscreen? what windscreen?' look valeters seem to achieve. I've had a go with Carplan Screen Clean but it just seems to smear the glass.

Old school.....vinegar, cleaned with newspaper. Great result.

Just don't get it on the paintwork

I use this stuff, seems to do the job pretty well when the windscreen's got grubby.

I use a mix of 70/30 IPA and DI water with a short pile MF cloth.

Works perfectly and is rediculously cheap to make.

+1 for the AG Glass Polish, it's awesome stuff. I do my screen once a week with it in the summer and nothing touches it for effectively getting all the crap off.

You'd certainly feel it the next morning if you had a pint and managed to survive that long!
