Expensive cars the neighbours wont notice ?

Seeing as we have the other end of the cash/flash scale, what is a godd, low key way of getting somethign nice, disposing of as much money as possible and not really causign any curtain twitching or eyebrow raising ?

I am thinking a mundane looking Audi A1 with the biggest diesel engine, standard castors and a dull blue paintjob, as many non blinging options (Sat Nav, fancy Leather etc) as the Audi brochure will let you throw at it, probably easy to knock on the door of 30k and still look like a supermini ?

Phaeton is a good call, VW badge, not too blingy and could be mistaken for a Passat that is nearer than you think, they dont seem to do anythign other than V6's now but 70 grand looks do-able.

Jesus, looks like about 5 grands worth, has the air of the big model Lada never sold in the 1990s, dealer special alloys, based on knock off 1970s Talbot Alpine styling scaled up by 50 percent, 75 grand, who, why ?

I know a chap on his third new Fiat 500. He has a non-age specific plate he puts on all of them and the last two were the same colour. Unless you talk to him you'd have no idea he's been spending money. I'm not even sure if his wife has noticed.

I'm not sure what benefit he gets from spending the money, but it's definitely stealthy.

helped design the front corners of the facelifted version of that - being my only claim to fame in life.

was a long time ago, but iirc had some nice reading lights on flexible wires in the rear seats.
was the most elecronically advanced car in the world when it came out, or so tatra claimed
