I have a Qashqai and I quite like it

I realise that it's about as popular as admitting that I dress like this:



So Hertz gave me a Qashqai today as I need to commute then dump my car at the airport tomorrow.

And you know what, I quite like it. It handles like a Tranny (a van, not the chap in the above photo) but it's quiet, feels extraordinarily well made, visibility is great and everything is perfectly laid out. The epic body roll spoils it though.

If only they made something like it, but the size of a Mondeo with a high revving petrol engine, pin sharp handling and a four door saloon body.

(Hint: they do, it's called the Altima, and we don't get it because we won't buy anything bigger than a Focus without a prestige badge).

Built to a price and they do it very well. The guy's at Sunderland have a lot of pride in what they build.

Mrs.NCoT has an 08 top spec 2.0 petrol. It's a great place to be, loads of kit, comfortable. Engine is very agricultural though.
