Selling the CAP Black Book

Anybody know whether it's legal or not to sell last month's copy of the Black Book on the open market, ie potentially to a non-trader? Do CAP have Ts & Cs preventing this?

Of course it's legal.

IIRC last time I looked at a printed copy (we use online versions now, quicker to find the right car, particularly when looking for something like a 3 series where there are pages and pages of options) the Ts and Cs said you couldn't resell them. That said there is no identifier on the book, so for CAP to get the hump they'd have to work out where it had come from.

The difference between something being illegal and being in breach of contract.

Illegal might get you prosecuted. Breach of contract might get you sued.
