I saw some fog today funnily enough...on the M40 after the rain- it was like a blanket thrown over the fields...looked very nice.

I'm with the OP on this, does seem to be a lot of people doing this, more on lesser brands such as Kia/Hyundai people carrier things strangely, and it does irritate me :L

My car doesn't have fog lights but I'm going to source and fit some and then drive around with them on to piss OP off.

an even better thing too do in a manual is when stationery in traffic quickly select reveres gear befor pulling off people behind will think your in an auto

Never really thought that was the actions of an automatic box, more like the driver is a donkey and selected the wrong gear.

I'm fairly certain people have been driving around with their foglights ablaze (night or day) for many years well before DRL's even came along.

No doubt they will continue to do so, more so now just to upset the OP

Are you sure they're fog lamps? I posted this on another DRL thread the other day:

My old 911 had the same problem. The sidelights were at the same level as the foglights:


Obviously I have my dipped beams on as well but those lower lights are the sidelights. The front fogs are adjacent to them and are off.

In the UK for driving purposes the definition of fog is visibility less than 100 metres. Everything else is mist.
