What car did I see?

Driving into Buckingham today a white car came towards me, and at first glance (in my mind) I thought it was a Lotus Europa, but then as it came near, it looked completely different at the back, more like a Honda CRZ. On the side it had written 'Wireless Charging', so I am assuming it is some kind of test-bed vehicle? Anyone more up to date with electric cars (if it was that?!) know what I am on about?

No, not a Tesla, as that looks pretty much completely like a Lotus, and the rear was definitely something that looked like a cut&shut from another car...
