£50k to spend

If you have £50k to spend and was looking for the ultimate sports performance car what would you go for? I like to buy cars that are getting to classic status plus this way they tend to not loose any money should you look after them when you decide to sell. At the minute I am thinking a ferrari 355 spider, anyone else?

If you want the ultimate sports performance then you don't want a classic as things move on. There are plenty of cars faster then an 355 available for 50K.
