Why I chose it: "What's not to like? Stunning looking car with the performance to match. I've had a Camaro, have a Mustang it's about time I tried a Challi. A "Green With Envy" or "Plum Crazy" wrap and it'd be perfect."

Why I chose it: "A factory built hot-rod, stunning looks and I've wanted one as long as they've been around."

Why I chose it: "Despite the questionable image I still like it, it would be a (powerful) practical counterpoint to the two fun cars (plus my wife would kill me if she didn't get anything out of this deal!)."

Quite like his choice myself, with a similar love of US derived V8's - still own my F150 Lightning (still can't bear the thought of giving it up after 7 years of ownership, even though I only thought I'd keep it for a year after replacing my Elise with it!) and have previously owned a Griff 500. Would love a Challenger or a 5.0 Mustang GT. Like the looks of the Prowler, but weedy V6 lets it down and for that reason it's never been on my shopping list - needs a V8!

The Prowler is in there as it's the antithesis of most modern, sterile cars. It's horrendously impractical, build quality is likely to be average to good rather than excellent - yet the mere fact it exists should be celebrated. It's a modern take on a classic hot-rod with the added bonus of reliability, good mpgs and good performance (I'll be the first to say it should've had a V8 but hey I'll take individuality and purple over the predominance of resale silver, doom black, recession white )

The Challi is just one of my childhood dream-cars up-dated for modern life - as a bonus it is quick, has good handling and build quality (again note I'm not claiming 'great') while being comfortable.

I'm more than happy for both of these pieces of individuality to be in my garage while others swan around in bland-looking euroboxes - with the added advantage in the case of the 2 yanks that the depreciation is negligible, how's that for a Brucie bonus!

Chrysler's V8 at the time actually made less power. But even with 1000hp that car is fking gay.

If you have a look at what he has previously owned and currently has sat on his drive, you will noticed a pattern. He likes American motors and i personally cant think of any modern day "hotrod" style car bar the Chevrolet SSR that would fill the modern comfort, classic style category.

which is fair enough - the way you've put it, it's couched in non-abusive/derogatory tones. It is telling that most of the boo-boys don't have their own garages up on their profile for dissection though

I get the idea of the Prowler. And I like that it exists. However, I wouldnt like to be sat in a town centre in traffic in one.

The Range Rover Sport just smacks of Championship Footballer, circa 2007.

I do like the Challenger. Im currently running a V6 one as a long term hire car - Ive done 4k miles in it in the last 1.5 months. With a V8 it would be brilliant. Its good even with the (300BHP) V6.

I love the Prowler It's like the TT to the PT Cruiser's New Beetle, only more insane. As has already been said, there need to be more cars like this. Impractal. Agressive. Slightly pointless. However, you just know that your inner 8-year-old will be incredibly happy driving one.

I like it. The first sensible 100k garage IMO. 3 cars that fill needs and are new enough to be usable if your spending £100k (which isn't that much really), rather than 10 cars that would be financially ruinous in tax, MOT and servicing alone, never mind that most of them are going to be needing constant care, or several horridly old cars that were once very expensive are still going to need £100k car servicing and repairs even thought they are now £10k.

Other than petrol costs this choice makes sense and what most people would actually have if they had £100k, two day to day cars and a toy. Not my choice of actual cars, but realistic.
