Recommend me a stereo please

Looking to replace my old head unit, it's an old 90's car so would be looking for something which isn't blingy (standard DIN size). Happy if it's 'mechless' i.e no CD, would like bluetooth, ability to charge apple products, USB maybe and FM as well as DAB. And if it can control spotify as well even better - though not sure this is possible?

Any thoughts at all?

My pioneer deh-3300ub works pretty well albeit it doesn't have bluetooth (but there is a bluetooth version). Can charge iPhones etc... works with Spotify.

Just saw your requirement for DAB, this doesn't have it.

Always use Alpine in my older vehicles. Halfords do a Bluetooth/IPod jobby for around £120. It also has selectable colours to match dash lighting

Just to clarify when I say it works with Spotify you can only change tracks. It doesn't interface with Spotify.

Appreciate the responses. Anyone aware if any head units control spotify fully? I've done some googling and there's several old threads on here but none seem to conclude full/decent control.

As he said. anything Alpine to your budget will be as good as it gets.

Might be worth waiting a few months and see which carplay headunits come out. The only problem with that is I doubt any of them will be single DIN, unless you get one with a flip out screen.

There might be one out there that has the ability to have apps (including Spotify) installed on it? Might be worth a search.

Have a look at some of the Sony head units, I got one for my 928 has Bluetooth, USB and an app for my iPhone to control it

I'll dig the box out and have look for the model number
