I read a thread earlier that talked about 'losing your mojo' feeling like you can't be arsed to find a new car. I think I'm afflicted with a little of that.

It seems I've persuaded the wife to take my Subaru Legacy as her car, which potentially frees me up to buy something fun!

It needs to be a two plus two minimum, just so I can take my sons in it if necessary (they are 9 and 11).

Originally I was taken by the Jaguar XK8, also thought of XJR. Considered Saab Aero of course, plus BMW 7 Series. Vaguely thinking of Mazda 6 MPS, but just not doing it for me.

Requirements are:

Fast (ideally sub 7 to sixty at least)
Luxurious
Fun
Economical (this is relative, I'll probably go for LPG, so ideally I'd like it to do 25 plus before conversion.

I did fancy a convertible, but not entirely sure about it. Perhaps a Saab convertible.

So any ideas guys?

Now veering back towards the Saab 9-5 Aero. They are just ridiculous value for money, plus cheap and easy to convert to LPG, being a 4 pot.
