Audi A7 Biturbo in sport regalia or plain BMW 530

In January i need to order a new company car. Certain limitations apply.

Would you for :

the Audi A7 with the 313HP bi turbo engine (with the active sound management system), 20" 5 spoke wheels, S-line dress, blacked out windows, factory decromed exterior, black sport seats, black piano laquer interior fitting? Good for touring, but also sporty enough and "special".

or

a discrete navy metallic BMW 530 sedan, champagne premium leather, traditional mahagony wood, 19" multispoke alloys? And then a vintage RR/B (T2, Corniche) or a AM V8V to scratch the Exotica itch?

Audi's are bling, not classy. Option of 2nd interesting car at weekend clearly superior.

I've not driven one, but I'm not convinced a go could persuade me that a diesel Audi A7 is either special or 'sporty'.

640d gran coupe if you can, out of the two I'd be tempted with the Audi as I like the A7 shape, but the 530 is a fine car just a tad bland to look at for me.

Sorry I've just read the OP properly and I don't understand, you're ordering a new company car and the choice is either an A7 or a 530 AND an Aston/Roller?

Out of the two, I'd be tempted to go for the A7 because it is that rarest of rare things, a pretty modern Audi. The spec sounds a little gauche though. Can you not modify the spec to make it a bit more discreet?

That's how I read it.

OP probably has a monthly car allowance.

Option 1 - Blow the lot on the Audi.

Option 2 - The basic BMW meets the criteria set by the company. With the money left over - he buys the Roller/ Aston for himself.

I do like the sound of the Audi, but for me, the lure of having a Roller in the garage would be too strong. And the 530d is still a great car in it's own right.

sorry for this misunderstanding. both cars would be company cars, fully expensed etc, but we have certain guidelines. the 6 series would not fit into the budget.

the question is: "exciting" audi without a second (privately bought) car or discreet/bland 530 which will not get on my nerves + an additional car (classic or sports).

i am leaning towards option 1. owing an exotic car means i have to nurse it. the a7 in right spec could do it all?

It's not exactly night and day, I doubt an A7's going to be much more exciting than a 5 series.

Quite the opposite in fact - it's highly likely the 5 series would be not only more fun to drive than the Audi, but also more comfortable.
