Halfords own brand oil, and it says you get a free 1 litre top up bottle on their website

Of course they do... Its substandard rubbish, one step up from cooking oil. Everyone knows that [insert favourite brand] is the best as I have used it for years and never had a problem, so it must be the best.

Also, I read on the internet somewhere that [insert favourite brand]is the best as there was a 10 page technical report written by [insert favourite brand]which said it was.

I won’t buy ANYTHING other than [insert favourite brand]for my cars and have become evangelical in telling everyone just how good it is, you are an idiot if you even consider using anything else.

And don’t bother using the grade the car manufacturer recommends, WTF do they know… best to use some thicker stuff as this has a higher film strength and coats the bores and bearings better, my mate down the pub told me this and he knows about these things as he has a City and Guilds in cleaning product development.
