2007 Hyundai i30 CRDi wine!

Hi guys!

My 2007 i30 has developed a bit of a wine!

Its a 1.6 turbo diesel on 66k miles.

It seems to be on a cold start, wouldn't be able to say if it was while the engine is warm because I can't hear it!

It also has a trouble getting into gear sometimes! It feels like I'm pushing the gear stick against a wall!

It ALSO crunches sometimes when going into reverse, more often then not!

Anyone have any ideas?

I did mean whine!!!

I told the salesman at the laptop shop that I wasn't going to be sold silly extras like a back-lit keyboard!!
