Mrs Blib, who is planning on buying a new car, had great fun with our 12 year old, car obsessed son, last week in Turkey. The taxis there are either Doblos or close equivalents from other manufacturers, such as Renault, Dacia, even Mercedes.
Throughout the week, each time we took a cab ride, she feigned great interest in those cars, commenting approvingly of the driving position, ride and cabin refinement. Much to the distress of young Master Blib. Near the end of the week, he took me aside to seek reassurance that his mum couldn't possibly be interested in buying a Doblo.
Being a caring, loving father, I replied that I thought hers to be a jolly good idea and that I was seriously thinking of chopping in my Fiat 500 runaround for a Dacia myself.
