Pontiac Solstice

Just seen a little black roadster blatting through the traffic. It turns out to be called a Pontiac Solstice Roadster. I normally hate anything from the USA, but this looks quite cool. Does anyone know anything about them?

It shared the platform with the Saturn Sky, and the Opel GT which was the VX220 replacement in Europe (but not the UK where it was never sold). It's an awful car by all accounts which is a shame because I think it looks pretty good

From what I've seen of the Opel version, reviews have been damning about the chassis setup to say the least, but from what I've read I think it's more of a tuning issue than a fundamental problem with the platform.

It does come in nice colours though.
