If not Rover 75 Tourer - what?

Budget about 3.5 K for an estate car, priorities-

1)Ride comfort, above all else, after 2 years in an Audi
2)OEM HID lights
3)Light coloured interior
4)Not red
5)Not a BMW

Everything else negotiable

I have a V8 for nice days and two more V8 projects so this is for everyday use.

X-Type estate. Plenty out there with beige interiors. Go for SE spec rather than Sport to get the softer suspension.

No they don't - but they are out there, looked at one today.

ETA more of the 75s than Mondeos and X types seem to have OEM xenons.

Weren't the a factory option on the later ZT's? Or the V8's? Or am I blowing out of my backside
I seem to remember the owners club saying that one needed to make sure they worked when buying used.

Factory option on everything inc. 75s - some folk think all the later ones have them just because they are projector lights.
Confusingly, pre-facelift could be specced with projector lights and headlight wash (but only halogen bulbs).

I'm sure plenty of prospective 5-series buyers would discount the 75 on the basis of it being a Rover, so why not the other way around?

Just purchased a 9-5 Aero Auto from here. Absolutely fab car. Would recommend. Getting 30 mpg, really comfy. Fast when it needs to be and loads of space.

Subaru Legacy?

Probably looking at a 2.0 Re or 2.5 Re on an 04 plate. Can get cream leather although most are black leather.

My other suggestion would be a Jag X Type where you'll most likely find the spec you're after
