The story goes like this. Driving up the A1 a few weeks ago north of Hatfield in the 3 lane sections....really busy and the nearly standstill, just before it goes into 2 lanes before an Ambulance is making his way in the 3rd lane and we all start pulling over as Ambulance goes by just as the 3rd lane ends ...some cock in a X5 is in his wake right up his arse (I hate people who do this) and trys to push in in front of a Black Ford Ranger just in front of me, this chap doesn't let him in so he try's it with me no indicator no nothing just try's and sticks his nose in.
Now if I'd been in my car I might have backed off but I was in one of the vans so I was big enough to block him off and keep moving all this is happening at less than 5 mph as he is stalled and I roll by on his inside he gives me the coffee beans and I reciprocate ... And he pulls in a few car behind after a few others though no way matey.
As traffic frees up I'm back in the outside lane and flying up my chuff comes white X5 I just let off and slow down to about 60 and he pulls onto a chevronned area and on my right and flys past with just enough room to spare before this chevronned area ends and slams down himself, so with this I see the red mist, I should have just though fk this and backed off but kept going, and got back I front when he next braked really hard....next up comes this nob on my inside looking straight at me phone in hand and starts snapping away.... What a nob thinks I and after that he backs off.

Today I get a text from a pal saying 'not another one' (this refers to me once shaking a then up and coming fiery Mancunian singer warmly by the throat one evening in a Manchester night club.) and a screen shot of a picture of me blurry and the back end of my Van. This guy has put it on his Facebook page and it's gone a bit viral. Obviously his story differs from mine with no explainations as to why I choose to pick on him, and the coin bit not only a load of bks , but how would he know what was in my hand travelling along at 70+.

It turned out to be Lee Latchford Evans once of the great vocal harmony group (that bit is very much tounge in cheek) Steps.
Anyway I'm gonna get by the Steps faithful no doubt.

Anyway cool story Bro. ???.

I was picking up a girlfriend at Glasgow airport and was scanning the crowds of travellers funnelling through domestic arrivals, when I saw Russell Brand. I must have looked surprised or acknowledged him because he wandered over to me expecting me to be picking him up. I explained that it was nice to meet him but I was collecting someone else and he strolled out of the airport and boarded the City Centre Bus with a rather attractive brunette in tow.

Can we have a bit more context on this bit in particular?

It's posts like this that remind me getting wound up on the road really isn't worth it. Let it go and get on with your life.

Shame you have to be his friend to post on his wall, could have had some fun if it was an open page. He does have a twitter page though.

Odd coincidence, in that I checked my FB account for the first time in a while earlier, and someone I know had shared this.

You're famous smile

Clearly the Z lister is a bit of a nobber if he feels the need to rally the support of his FB fans because he got burned driving like a bit of a cock (or so it sounds) hehe

ETA - should he really be advertising the fact he used his phone behind the wheel on what appears to be a NSL road to the world?!

Only 20 comments on it for 11,000 shares, though. Maybe people are just hitting share to feel as though they've helped a celebrity out? I can't imagine many people giving a toss about it truthfully.

Could be worse. I had to Google him to remember who he is and there are pictures of his bare bum all over the Internet. As his mates want him to report you to the police he might have an interesting time explaining how he came to be taking the happy snaps on his phone while he was driving.

I just let people like that get on with it. I still get to where I'm going (on time might I add), they think they've got one over on everyone and most importantly (by allowing them to merge) traffic seems to flow better. None of this holding people up or blocking them. It just causes a mess for everyone behind.

i have to say i always believe there are 2 sides to any story, and i hate white knights of the road as much as washed out celebs, so i will sit on the fence until the morning crew step in, and decide the fate of the thread.

p.s i have to say if 'He then threw money out his window in an attempt to hit my windscreen' then they is very dickish behavior.

To be honest driving right up to the end of a filter in lane doesn't bother me in the slightest, I usually think 'cheeky sod' or 'wish I'd thought of that'. It's the ambulance tailgating that really pissed me off.
