Ok totally newbie question re: new set of 4x4 alloys.

I want to surprise my gf with some new alloys on her car. I realise for most women this is not a big deal but this is her pride and joy and the current alloys have always been pretty manky, with rust bubbles (since she bought the car). We think the fact the alloys are so bad, the tyres are losing air because the seal is not the best.

The car is an ex import Mitsubishi Pajero Junior (sort of like a Jimny), with 15’’ wheels. Bearing in mind any car manual for this car is in Japanese and this model is barely recognised on any sites when you enter the reg number, then how do I order new alloys online? I sort of understand the requirements but how do I know about offset etc etc, or what the current exact alloys are on my car, besides the fact they are 15’s?

Probably 6 x 139.7 but have a look at the wheels on it first. The info you need will be on there, probably on the inside, and probably covered in dirt. Or search on forums / ebay - Rochford will be able to tell you what you need, I'm sure there's loads of other wheel places as well

Nope, next size down, two down from the "proper" Paj/Shog.

<sigh> which bit of "like..." is so terribly difficult? The Jimny's probably about the closest thing we did officially get here.

OP - two sec google says 5x114.3, 46mm offset, standard 15 x 6.5 wearing 205/70 15.

I am glad we are clear on the fact the Jimny (not Jimmy) is a different make, I thought I was stating the obvious, hence didnt mention it is a Suzuki :-)

Are you happy with the design of the current wheels? There are plenty of companies that can completely refurbish wheels, even changing the colour, and they will look new.

I bought some manky wheels on Ebay for my S4. They were curbed and looked awful. 1 day with http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk/ and they look brand new. They heat them up to straighten them, fully strip them down, repaint and lacquer.
