You would have thought as a highly paid journo he would have managed a better drum than than that. Just look at J leno.
Quite a few round here have truck garages built on or done in the garden, but I'd be surprised if that wasn't for a fly-in.
There's one just sold I loved that has a barn out the back that's about the same size as the house itself. Chap built it to keep a 40ft cigarette boat, wakeboarding boat, half a dozen cars and a couple of kenworth trucks in. I'd have suffered it, missus wasn't too keen when I said I'd also need toys of similar caliber just to make the most of the space

In reality, very few Journo's earn decent money, a big contrast to top US tv personalities. A friend of mine was dating a motoring Journo and if it wasn't for the freebies like free use of cars and trips to launches they would have struggled to do more than the basics. I guess it's like all professions, most struggle but big money at the very top.I'd love a garage like that though although I'd need a cash injection to fill it!!
