Finding out previous owners of your car.

Just a quick evening muse. One of my cars is 4 years old and I am it's 5th owner. I don't really care as I buy on condition and I'm very glad the car has had 4 careful owners as opposed to 1 neglectful one. That said, is it possible to find out the details of the previous owners of the car? I'd be interested to see if mine was an ex-demo etc. Is this covered under the FOIA or does my available history go as far as A.N.Other and his V5 showing John Doe prior to him?

No probs. On the reason for the request section, just say something along the lines of wanting to complete the history file for the car, or some such rubbish!
