Exactly! Size of a house, makes a lit of noise, about 2ft away from the drivers face! Morons line this are responsible for the hours of tailbacks we all then suffer. After checking everyone was ok I'm be sorely tempted to give the car driver a firm yet firm punch in the mouth. I had to watch this a couple of times as at first it appeared to me that the lorry changed direction.
It looks as if it is on a section with temporary lane markings that cross the original markings which, have not been completely removed from the road.
I imagine the driver of the Nissan might have been temporarily confused by the markings and ended up making a fairly catastrophic mistake.

Worse is when heavy rain / water on the road obscures some markings. Especially dangerous when you're dealing with an unusually-shaped junction in an unfamiliar place. That cause road rage ,congestion and aggressive driving.

No hard shoulder and old road markings you can't distinguish from the new ones in bright sun and heavy rain are a permanent feature of the newly "upgraded" section of the M25. billshoreham said:
