Not sure if this is record but my father has now been waiting 5 weeks to get his car sorted by the insurance company.
5 WEEKS
A friend of mine had his sorted in 5 days when someone whacked his door.
My uncle had his settled in 10 days when someone reversed into his car writing it off the middle of the night.
Lets see if anyone can beat 5 weeks.
Again try and keep naming and shaming to a minimum or at least disguise the company name.

My car was crashed into December 29th 2009.
Claim finally sorted and paid out October 2013.
He ran a red light and crashed into me, submitted an initial false statement to his insurance and then was incommunicado throughout the rest of the time.
