Westfalia detachable tow bars - will any fit?

There is a Westfalia detachable tow bar fitted to my car, it was there when I bought it. However, the tow ball appears to be broken. The key will only turn a quarter of a turn, and I can't remove the key in any position.

Looking on eBay, there are a number of tow balls for sale for reasonable money, and they LOOK identical to the one I have.

Does anyone have any idea if the detachable part is fairly standard on these things?

When I 1st got mine it got stuck, push the ball bearing things in / play about with it and it'll reset.

That's sorted - thanks. You've saved me a load of time and indecision.

Now just got to see if I'm capable of towing a trailer - got the licence bit sorted, I'm as old as the hills so no problems on that score.
