Best way to pass parked cars

It's on 2 wheels a la James Bond Diamonds are Forever right? ;-)

There's a long row of parked cars on your side, other side has priority.

How do you get past?

a) just go, there's enough room to both just squeeze. It won't be pretty but you'll get through.

b) wait till the roads clear enough to get through and back onto your side. Remember it's a long row of cars, this means drivers behind attempting overtakes and other silliness while you wait for a gap to allow that.

c) wait till there's enough of a gap for you to get about 3/4 of the way along and have oncoming stop for you to clear

I've tried all 3 and I go C, it keeps both sides moving fairly evenly.

The highway code says your actions shouldn't cause another driver to brake, so C's wrong.

What's the right way?

Anticipation and timing are key. C is not necessarily wrong, if you can see and be seen from a reasonable distance then braking shouldn't be necessary. Of course there will always be nobs that see what you're doing and deliberately speed up so your reckless overtake causes them to brake in a harsh and exaggerated manner.

It's B. if someone behind wants to try something else let them crack on. Also I might see there's just enough room to squeeze through two cars but he other driver might not be so confident and do that wide eyed, steering wheel shuffle, wheels up the kerb thing.

Life is to short to spend it getting all twisty knickered over a 20 second delay.
