Which insurance is best for.......

.......a fresh import car and normal 2010 family estate and can mirror my ncd for a weekend toy?
Who would you use and that's reasonable.
I'm 34 with max ncd.

They get a lot of hate but Admiral have always given me the cheapest quotes up until this year.

They mirrored my NCD from my imported RX-7 when I got my RX-8 and they offered a great multi-car policy price.

Swiftcover have covered my 996 C4S for £600 fully comp and mirrored my 12 years NCB on an E36 convertible for which I pay £250. Address in deepest Manchester suburbs ie not a good postcode.

There are on comparison sites like the rest, and I'm pretty sure they won't be competitive on grey imports.
I'm after specialists etc.
Seems admiral have done good so far and can fill my needs but the multicar policy is not that rewarding IMO only £20 saving

Be wary of additional charges with Admiral. I was charged £51 for a change of address after a five minute phone call; 300 yds down the road and one letter difference on the postcode. All sorts of lame excuses from the call handler like reassessed the risk etc. Intending to lodge a formal complaint.
Direct Line changed the address on the wife's policy free of charge.

Thanks for the heads up phil, but I'm not one to move anytime soon.
And I will pay charges if I think they are reasonable or I'll kick off (I always have a way of getting my way)
I don't think directline would be competitive on imports though.

I normally use green light, sky or Keith micheals but non of them are competitive enough on a mainstream vehicle and import together.
They are more high performance based (hence me trying to find best of both).
