Fast-ish diesel estate dilemma-another what car!

I'm afraid it's another what car dilemma that I need the ph collective help on...the v70 d5 is getting on a bit and I need a nice estate for work, visiting clients, load lugging and a generally all round nice family car. I've narrowed it to the following 3.
Bmw 530d touring m sport 2011-2012
Audi A6 S line Quattro 3.0 (245ps) 2011-2012
Mercedes E class 350cdi sport 2011-2012
I have 26-30k to spend. I've not driven any of them yet but the Audi wins on looks and a nice interior, I think the BMW will win on the driving experience and the interior is nice too, the Mercedes seems to be the cheapest out of the 3 and not so bad a steer. I will do around 15k per year and want a nice place to sit and will probably change after 4 years... Any advice welcome on the pros and cons of these .. There may be a possibility of affording the 535d too, is it worth it over the 530d? Have I missed any obscure left-field choices? Advice welcome!!

I'm biased but 530d for me. Best blend of driving dynamics, lovely interior and a fantastic engine and gearbox. Audi insist on offering only crap gearboxes unless you get the BiTurbo TDI. If you get the 245PS model you get a DSG, fine in a Golf GTI, not quite so fine in a big refined cruiser.
You need something with the ZF 8 Speed box - so you need a 530d.

I've got no experience of the BMW but we had a 2010 350cdi sport estate. It was a fantastic car, very fast and economical at the same time. The engine is super smooth and actually sounds quite sporty, the standard rear air suspension is great. We test drove the A6 and the E class was streets ahead in every way.
I am on my third 530d estate and have done around 350K miles in total. Excellent quick workhorses. The current one is an F11 530d SE and is much more comfortable without the crashing ride of the E39 and E61 Sport versions.
From what I have read, the S Line package on the A6 Avant gives a harsh ride, but I have no personal experience of this.

What are the details of your V70? I'm on the lookout for one and might be interested if you're getting rid. Unless of course it's completely over the hill and the engine is about to let go. PM me with details if necessary. TaBmw 530d touring m sport 2011-2012

I would also vote 530d, although a 535d is a mighty machine and worth a test drive. I'm a serial BMW buyer and loved my 530d to bits
I also had an a4 Sline until recently and it was incredibly crashy, SE models are better particularly the a6 which is huge in the back, but IMO dull and uninspiring to drive.
Not a Merc man but have heard amazing things about the 350 engine
