Number plate transfer question

Just a quick question regarding swapping my personal plate to another car that I own.

Do I need to send a copy of either vehicles tax disc along with the V317, VC5 and MOT certificate?

Some websites say I do but there is nothing on the V317 that says so.

No, just fill in the tax disc serial no. and expiry date in the relevant section on the V317.
No need to send in the actual disc anymore.
