Is Pistonheads are good as it used to be ???

I don't know if anyone else feels the same about Pistonheads articles. But they seem to have gone downhill recently. Full of Carpool 100k garages. Anyone else feel the same??

The front page articles are inevitably aimed towards the site's main readership, which has been shifting gradually more and more away from enthusiasts towards the mainstream since the site allowed non-TVR owners on.

I'm inclined to agree...
Lots of sniping and bickering and slightly fewer of the characters and 'in jokes' that there used to be; perhaps it's just an outcome of its larger reach?
There are still enough positives to keep me interested though and some sterling advice from professionals (Breadvan is an example that springs to mind from the SP&L forum).
And yes, 16 months? Pah!

If that was aimed in my direction then I'll happily admit that some of the characters weren't exactly the most open-minded individuals but in many respects I think some of the negative elements of the forums are more prominent now than they used to be.
