Ninja parking officers!

Couldn't believe it this morning, parked outside a customer house to unload tools etc.

Ok, my rear tyre was 4" onto a zigzag line.

Anyway finished unloading, jumped back in to park up properly, and noticed a bloody parking fine!!

They must of been a right ninja and snuck in while I was unloading!!

Anyway fair cop I suppose.

It's only £35 if pay in 14 days so not too bad, but my concern is, on the ticket it states my tax disk expired in April.

It is taxed, I just haven't bothered to replace the disk.

Are they likely to send me another fine for failing to display?

It wasn't 4" though, the rear of the vehicle overhanging the zig-zag counts too.

Can a civil enforcement officer issue points? I thought only police officers can?

Fairly sure its a fine for failing to display a valid tax disc, could try and blag it had slipped out as it is taxed.
