So, you're an international assassin, primarily Europe-based, what car do you drive?

Well obviously, it has to be black, as the night/shadows are your friend and it has to be fast, in order to leave the scene of the crime quickly and fairly discrete (so no Astons, Ferraris or Lambos). Sod the low-key option. I'm getting paid 1 million Euros a hit and lead a bit of a solitary lifestyle, so I want to travel in some comfort and style. I'm not driving a bloody Mondeo (or a diesel A4 S-line for that matter)! So similar but slightly different criteria to the perfect car for a bank job!

These are the obvious choices:

Black Audi S8

or if I'm a bit inept and think I'm going to have to slam through a few police roadblocks to escape, a black G55 AMG.

Having said that, if I botch the job, I'm going to have to torch the G55 and go with a different SUV next time (and probably a different colour too). So any large, powerful SUV in any colour would do (Range Rover, X5, Q7, M-Class etc).

The problem with the S8 and G55 though is that they look like assassins cars. You really want something less obvious and if an innocent bystander sees you fleeing the scene, something that they can't necessarily identify.

VW Phaeton W12 perhaps?

What car did you see leaving the scene? I think it was an Audi or a Mercedes. Someone else saw the VW badge. Passat? Not very fun when I'm fleeing over the Alps back to the lake house in Switzerland though and you might arouse suspicion by having actually bought one over an A8/S-Class! Can't have a Jaag because everyone knows the bad guy drives a Jag!

So perhaps a black Maserati Granturismo S?

Fast, comfortable, stylish, not necessarily instantly recognisable to a non-petrolhead or as shouty as an Aston/Ferrari/Lambo. Should be plenty of room for a secret compartment for weapons, passports and licence plates too. And hopefully to the authorities, I'll just look like a rich playboy or international businessman (so not too conspicuous/suspicious)!

Easy - Jag XFR - black, blacked out windows, black wheels... you get it. A certain advert on YouTube may have influenced me just a little... that's EXACTLY why you have a purring kitty if you're a badman.

Alpina B7. In Black. Fast enough to keep pace with fleeing punks and will fly under the radar very easily. Plus comfortable. After a long day of killing, comfort is paramount.

Too soon.....?

(All of the above scream "look at me" - the only way you'ld blend in is driving something like battered old Peugeot 206.)

Brabus-tuned Merc with the 850hp engine. Not sure which model though. Maybe the new S-Class coupe.

You drive whatever the hell you like when you aren't working. When you are working, you drive something nondescript, forgettable and disposable. Preferably stolen and on false plates.

Gitanes or GTFO - but even with the V6, too much of a pudding.

Tesla Model S, for the lean, green, caring killing machine?
