Need help with daughters quad please.

I would really appreciate any help with this please.

Only had 30 minutes running over 3 sessions.

Last started 4 months ago.

The plug was black and gummed up, now clean, and a good spark.

Petrol getting to carb, and think it's now flooded, so petrol is getting through.

Still wont start, any ideas?

Is it a two stroke? four stroke?

Does it have a reed valve? is it getting enough air?

2 stroke, still on factory settings.

Trying to find a manual to work from online.

Last stroker I worked on was a 350LC, 15 years ago.

At risk of teaching granny how to suck eggs, have you emptied the float bowl and flushed it through with some petrol? The petrol evaporates over time leaving the 2T in the bowl.

If it's flooded the plug will be wet - is it?

If it is dry it out - used to hold the electrode end over a gas burner years ago because I was an impatient git

Is the air filter clean and not over oiled

Living in the country, and being friends with farmers removes any legal problems.

Now have it running, fuel was getting through, but not enough, a bit of carb cleaner sorted it.
