RS4 or Forester STI for entertaining commute

Many of us have a boring commute every day. If you had a choice between these two, which would it be? A "fettled Forester with tweaks or an S4 Avant with a few touches or an alternative?
Haven't searched the archives.......".
15 mile commute.8 miles A road and 6 mile city traffic each way.
A few overtaking opportunities but now major NSL areas.

Does it have to be an estate?

If so
C5 RS6 an iconic car with a bellowy V8, sumptuous interior and a rather rude turn of speed. Even against modern equipment its still a fast car in every gear.

E55K AMG estate - wish I had bought the example I tested but the timing didn't work for me.

Amazing noise literally LOL acceleration the dynamic seats the total Q car only that V8 on the wing giving it away (unless you go round the back and see the exhausts).

These still look amazing today.

Is this the point I mention a Stage 3 V70R AWD?

Forester for hilarity, RS4 for doing the job, without having driven either, just my perceptions.

I'd choose the Audi of the two, being prepared for considerably higher running costs when things go wrong. For a quick and fun commute though, what about a 600cc sports bike? It'll blow the doors off the cars on the commute and filter into the distance once the traffic bunches up.
