My A6 has the same effect and has not had any rear accident damage, I think it's just the base colour of plastic versus metal causing the difference, or that's what I've put it down to on my car.

Hard to tell from the pics but the front looks ok colour match wise, the back doesnt, from that I'd say its had a bit of paint at some stage, whether thats a bumper scuff or an new arse end its hard to say without inpsecting.

I'd say it is the light because if you look at the other side the lighter colour continues on to the metal body.

I was in that dealership last Thursday in fact! I might get chance to go there again on Wednesday, if I do i'll have a quick look at it for you and post back, if you don't beat me to it!

Cheers - if anyone knows what day they drop the prices as well - I know they check weekly

I went on the live help at 9.30 asking about a warranty and they said they would call back - nowt, I called at 4pm all were busy they will call back - must be busy selling BMW`s in Harrogate
