mk2 focus rs or 997 2s 3.8

not to be used as a daily but,summer car.really really unsure which to go for.im not young so not sure if the rs would suit me .i do understand the engine problems with the early 997.1
the rs in its favour is quite a friendly car were people will put thumbs up .the 997 on the other hand is imo the total opposite ....i had a 911 years ago and got called a snob plus other names i cannot mention.your thoughts good phers

Focus for residuals but for me definitely a 997. Focus a bit chavvy but will, in time, like the 3dr cosworth become an icon.

I'm not young either, and a few years ago I bought a Focus ST and not long into ownership, I found that I had outgrown turbo power.

I'm now in an M3, I much prefer N/A power delivery these days.
