OK, it's "just" a Mondial, and I'm usually fairly laissez faire about folk doing what they want to cars they own, but was the world really crying out for a Mondial with tacky wheels, scuderia badges everywhere and a 1990s RGM wing tacked on the back?

Apologies if it's a PHer's car, but I do think it's pretty awful.

Eureka! I'm going to start making kits that turn a Mondial into an MR2. How can it fail, after my previously successful enterprises selling kits to turn Ferrari 360s into 406 Coupes and Lotus Esprits into Renault Espaces.

Doesn't look quite right. But those bits are easily changed. And it's still a Ferrari.

It's a 3.2, the sweet spot of the Mondys.

Badges would take less than 5 minutes to remove. Wing half a day, max, if you had to fill mounting points. Wheels are an easy swap, have to say I'm not keen.

It's hardly ruined.

Lose the wing and lower the suspension and maybe space out the wheels a bit and it would look great.

The wheel swap was probably down to the originals requiring (rare as a virgin in Essex) metric tyres. I don't actually see the problem with that. The alternative would be having the choice of remoulds or very old stock Michelin TRXs at about £450 per corner.

As for the rest, not exactly Barry'd, is it?!
