Would you buy a non Euro 6 compliant diesel now ???

Given the new Euro 6 emission regulations come into effect for all cars that are sold on or after January 1st 2015 would you buy a non Euro 6 compliant new car before then ?
The reason I ask is that I have the opportunity to take delivery of a new RR Evoque diesel before the end of October and I am told they are not Euro 6 compliant. I am not bothered how I buy the car (finance, outright purchase etc.) but am concerned about the impact of trying to sell a non Euro 6 compliant car in 4-5 years time. If I take the finance route it will have a "guaranteed future market value" as part of the deal so if the car is worth significantly less than that I could just hand it back and walk away. However, that would mean the cost of ownership over that period of time goes up significantly as part of the deal is to trade in my Freelander 2 which I already own outright; i.e. I am giving up a chunk of equity on any deal the Evoque would form part of in 4-5 years time.

Well it certainly seems to be that the tide is turning on diesel cars. I honestly don't understand why everybody suddenly started talking about diesel cars being "scraped in the near future"....sort of speak.
Why?? Just because someone, some place have said that it will be 20 quid tax for cars in London???
So we all need to abandon our diesels because of that? For a lot of people out in the real world (outside London) car capable of covering 200/300K without any major issue is a god blessing. If you never go further than your local supermarket you need petrol for any distance the diesel is the one.

Remember that in 2000/2001 flat screen TV were 4000/5000 EACH, today you can get 3 from Tesco for a 1000 quid.

Primary thing is Selective Catalyst Reduction with the car requiring urea to inject in the exhaust to reduce NOx. Urea will need filling up by the customer/ at services. Some engines won't need it, like Mazda Skyactiv. But I think they are struggling to meet federal bin emissions to sell in states (urea cars just dose more)

Euro 6 takes diesel emission of pollutants to that of 2005 euro 4 petrol cars. Today diesels emitting LESS pollution than petrol cars, FACT, so what is all this about?Perhaps from tomorrow all the lorries will change to petrol? No petrol engine can pull 80000 pounds lorry up hill...another FACT.
