Jaguar E-Type Lightweight: Pic Of The Week

Choosing a car for POTW wasn't difficult; deciding which shot of it was a little more of a challenge

The Jaguar E-Type doesn't really have a bad angle, does it? From the side, from the front, inside, even under the bonnet. It's just achingly pretty from every conceivable viewpoint.

The rear three quarter though, that's the money shot. The seductively swollen arches with the wheels tucked up just so, the gorgeous little lights and the perfect exhausts create a timelessly beautiful look. You wouldn't want to change a thing.

So that's why this image of the E-Type Lightweight is Pic Of The Week. Any of the original batch of photos could have been chosen really. With the car's official launch at Pebble Beach this weekend, expect more coverage over the coming days. And possibly more fawning.
