£4K attractive car?

Hi All,

Looking for a new car around the £4k mark.

Trying to keep insurance relatively low and as im under 20 that rules out any hot hatches (type r 182s etc), about the hottest hatch i get insured on is a mini cooper.

Requirements
relatively cheap to insure
good looking
around 30 mpg
not mega miles

Been looking at the likes of a collezione alfa 147, and aside from that nothing really looks as new or special for the money?

Any ideas?

Civic Sport? Looks of Type R but a 1.6 and will do 40 MPG easily, with lower insurance costs to boot.
