Middle Lane Morons - Personal best lap record

I was driving the work Sprinter down the M3 this morning at around 6.20 just after junction 4 when I caught up with a woman sat in the middle lane. I managed to circle her three times before she pulled over to lane 1, I was staggered that she was that oblivious but it did make me laugh.

Last weekend I only managed one circuit of a minicab before he realised what I was doing and sped off, still in the middle lane of course.

It narrows to two lanes soon after junction 7 but I reckon I can do better than 3 laps. I will try again tomorrow but does anyone else play this game?

I thought that I was the only one to play this game! :O I've only tried it once to be fair. It was on the M4 east bound just past jct 18, early in the morning on way to our holiday at around 7am. The OH & daughter were asleep & saw a Zafira loaded up with the holiday gear hogging the middle lane & not one other car in sight. I was bored, having travelled a far distance just listening to the radio, so thought I'd start a "new" game. I managed 3 laps, before the driver moved to lane 1! Yet to try out this game again though . Although they probably had no idea, I chuckled to myself.

I've never managed more than 3 laps, they usually realise what's going on after I overtake them for the 2nd time.

This is not a new game, I have played it for years after I read about it on here. I have managed to orbit many MLMs I cannot recall my best but its probably around 3 or 4, the MLM tends to notice after the first couple.

I didn't bother on the M1 earlier, clown in a Kia Sportage sat in lane 3 of 4 so just carried on in lane 1. He stayed there aswell oblivious to being a moron.

Sad to say I don't even bother moving into the overtaking lane to get passed MLMs anymore. Drop into the inside lane and just undertake them at a steady 70mph. Completely oblivious to all and everything around them - usually whilst texting/speaking on their mobiles.

Cretins the lot of em.

A variation is to give the screen a blast of screen wash each time you're in front

I managed to orbit a woman in a Mini a full 5 times.

I gave up before she moved to lane 1.

Good game. The other one I like is to undertake with the largest possible number of empty lanes between me and the overtaking lane camping twonk. My record is 3.

i think the only place it's possible to beat a 3 lane gap is the 6/12 lane section of M25 by heathrow where you could have 4 lane between
