Which car for £45,000 after owning a Porsche?

Hi, I am new to the forum and looking for some advice.

I currently own a Porsche 911 (997.2) Carrera S Cab PDK and have enjoyed doing 20,000 miles in it.

However, I am looking for a change and have a budget of approximately £45,000. I do 15,000 miles in a year and do not have preference of coupe/convertible. Also I don't do any track days and don't need more than 2 seats. However, the car should have a special feel to it therefore I have been looking at Aston Martin Vantage roadster Sport shift.

Hence, feel free to give your advice and thanks in advance!!!!

I've owned a 911 turbo, Aston Vantage and Audi R8. Consider the latter, it's a blast.

I tried a V8 Vantage and was really disappointed, as per the tractor comment above. Love the look, sound, interior but it just didn't feel as quick as it should have done.

£45K would just get you a basic spec basic V6 (340bhp). Not exactly exciting.

I didn't try a 4.7 (it was quite a while ago) It wasn't just the power though the handling felt stodgy.
