Long term car hire / very short term lease

Need to hire a car for 2 months - nothing fancy, just a run around, any ideas on the cheapest way of doing this?

Any recommendations of company? Need it for Friday.

Try Northgate, not sure if they hire to private individuals though?

We had a member of staff that needed a car for a few months and used a local car hire company http://www.newarkselfdrivehire.co.uk/. From memory we did a deal of about £80 per week including VAT on a new Fiesta including insurance, tax, AA, maintenance and no mileage limit. They are now offering it at £95 but i'm sure they would do a deal.

It may be worth contacting some of your local privately owned hire companies.
