I love the 308 - it is a car from my childhood.
I love the 288 GTO - it is a car from my youth.

Both are now rare enough to be revered and preserved and I find this just a little bit sacrilegious.
Might be an age thing...

I keep looking at it. If it were marketed as simply an upgrade to a 308 it'd be fine but trying to look like a GTO is rather sad. I might be tempted to put the original mirrors back on, finish off the will (doesn't look right) and then do some engine work on it. I'm not bothered about originality - in fact it looks ripe for some headwork and fuel injection.
