Leaving messages on used cars with no reply

i never enjoy selling or buying cars
but as my car is potentially sold with a deposit on it, i'm looking for options
browsing through autotrader, i spot two private cars, telesafe numbers. I ring both and leave message and my number, repeated slowly too for them to get back to me when able, but no reply
i understand why some want telesafe, but this day and age would be nice to have a back up contact like email
i wander if they got the message or not, whether car is sold or not (although still listed)
i don't want to ring again to sound i'm overly keen too.
anyone else find sellers not responding?

It doesn't surprise me but does really baffle me. I've experienced sellers not responding to all of the contact options they advertise not just the tele safe ones on AT. Possibly as a result of time wasters many sellers won't engage with you unless you catch them when they can answer and won't respond to voicemail/email etc. That or there are many unmotivated sellers out there??
