Afternoon all, a question for those who may have experienced this particular car.

It needs to be a petrol (short town trips, many a day, mostly < 3 miles)

The question(s) is,

it's for three children, a 2,4 and 6 year old with a planned keep time of about five years or there abouts (the car not the kids!)

Is it big enough (without going C max) to allow for three growing children?

On a more general note, in terms of practicality, reliability etc for around 10k (plus a little bit), is it likely to be a sensible purchase?

Cheers,

DMN

Depends if you can fit three child seats in the back if you need another adult in front...or adult squished in back with a seat either side.

my dad has a B max. Dont get me wrong its nice and fairly spacious but if I had 3 kids (growing ones at that) every journey someone will be narked at sitting in the squashed middle seat. Also, the boot isnt actually that big really. There is plenty of room with the seats flat though

We were looking to replace our 2008 petrol C-MAX,the newer C-MAX no longer comes as 2.0 litre and we don`t do diesel, instead it comes with a 1.6 Eco-boost engine of the same power output of our current C-MAX but to be honest it don`t feel as powerful and my wife didn`t like the look of it in the end,so we looked at B-max`s.

I found that with just two girls(7+3) plus all their toot it would be too small to be comfortable.
I didn`t go on a test drive but my wife said the only real drawback to her was the way she had to work it harder than the C-MAX,which we still have and don`t look anywhere near replacing at the moment,it has been 100% reliable though.
