Many people unfortunately, very easy to dismantle, easy to pass on parts.

I really fancy one of these, at a good price of course ..lol honestly though, absolute scum.

Loads go missing. You would be very surprised. There is strong demand for these of any age in bits or as a whole. Many end up being exported.

Hope who ever nicked it is caught.

Stolen from Kent, not Essex, very close to me. There has been a lot about this particular one on FB, where someone posted a name and address in Wiltshire where the Landie allegedly was, the thread went silent after that. I think the poster should have PMd the owner, if the information was genuine then there is every chance the thief would see it and move the car.

And yes, lots and lots of Landies go missing every day, as said they are quick and easy to break up but there are also a lot of ringers for sale (again easy, plus lots of them rot out so ringing brings a rotten one "back to life", and finally I gather there is a healthy export trade to Eastern Europe.

Ultimate security is hard to achieve, the preferred method of removal is by HIAB apparently.

Shame. I've always fancied a SWB for work purposes.

easily stolen and a huge global market for parts. Because they are agriculturally built, it is easy to remove trackers etc and bypass the factory alarm as there is nothing preventing access. Thieves will bring their own ecu to get around the immobiliser and drive it away.
If you want to keep one you need to make life difficult for thieves. Box in wiring in A pillar and under dash. Put a hidden switch on the ecu power feed.

I have a mate who runs a garage specialising in them. They get nicked all the time. Often they will leave your tracker on your driveway and take the vehicle.
