checking a cars history ??? what does

[v12bitch]

never sure if I do on line check does the system check the car or the history of the number plate ? thanks all

[Bungleaio]

You mean a HPI check? If so it will check the plate but it will tell you what car it's currently registered to before you go past the point where you have to pay. It won't tell you all the cars that the plate has been on but I believe it will say what plates have been on the car you are interested in.

yes just done hpi via text shows a cat d its a private plate thats with the car and will stay with car, I assume the plate has been on other cars ? and as such may be showing results for another car cannot speak till monday with the enquiry line so just getting a bit of knowledge if I can before hand thanks again
