Hi guys. Some help with a what car(?) would be appreciated. My wife has indicated that she would like to replace her car with something fun. She likes the Audi TT and the Mini. Budget up to 9k. The car is only going to do a max of 5k miles per annum so efficiency etc not important. Criteria:

1. 4 seats
2. Medium/hot in terms of performance
3. Small/agile
4. Must be cute/trendy/poncy

Any suggestions welcomed. Cheers

As much as I dislike them, it sounds like a Mini Cooper or Cooper S would fit the bill.

Thanks for the suggestion of the Swift. I like that, but she wouldn't. I'm really struggling to think of an alternative given the criteria.

This is another easy one, like the bloke last week needing a car for his dad, but actually his mum was going to be driving it; for the sale of a quiet life, just get the lady what she wants.

TT qualifies as 4 seater only due to age of kids.

I'd be looking at one of these instead, your kids will grow rapidly and soon get bored of the rear seats in a TT.

Thanks Deerfoot. That is a good suggestion. I'll float it.

Go for a MINI cooper S. 9k should get you an 08-09 one i reckon. They are a real hoot to drive and feel quick enough for most situations!

bought mine less then a month ago:
