Hi

So I'm importing a car from the Republic of Ireland to the UK, the car was originally registered in the UK in 2003
and I brought it over to Ireland in 2012.

I was sent out the import pack by the DVLA and I have to fill in the V55/5 form.

But on a number of sections it states I must ''Take this information from the Certificate of Conformity. You do not need to fill this in if you are providing an SVA, IVA or MSVA certificate."

It's an Alfa Romeo 156 so do I need to contact UK Alfa Romeo to order this Certificate? I checked the documents I got with the car and I only have the owners manual and warranty / service book along with the previous owners records such as MOT history and so on.

Also does anyone know if this CoC is expensive?

Cheers.

I've dealt with one of these for a VW. I had to contact VW Group UK to obtain it and I seem to remember it costing around £50.

Plus it was originally a UK car.

Just put the original reg number in the relevant box at the top left.
