Scrappage scheme leftovers?

Looking to do a bit of urban exploring on the sites which held/still hold the scrappage scheme storage.

Does anybody know of any of the runways that still have some left? I'm quite into "car spotting" as such and just have a general interest to look around.

Any help would be great!

Would have thought with the price of metals nowadays the cars have long since been recycled. TBH, with the typical state of those that were traded in most of them would have rusted away to nothing anyway.

Assuming you're talking about the 2009 £2k trade in deals and the cars that were traded in, not the ridiculous "OMG huge car maker conspiracy about fields of scrapped cars" article that did the rounds a few months back and then got thoroughly debunked?

I'm not sure if there's any still at RAF Thurleigh...? They also store new cars up there.
