What does Peugeot represent to you?
Discussion
Generally I think of them as cheap French tat. But... My wife had from nearly new an 02 reg 206 1.4hdi. Took it up to 96,000 trouble free miles with nothing other than servicing, one exhaust, one battery and discs and pads.
It was far from a ball of fire but it did 50-60mpg, road tax was cheaper than dinner for two and it never ever let us down. Recently sold for just under a grand which represents a loss of less than £500 per year of ownership.

The peugeot lot seem to buy in used cars of other brands to sell though?
Or maybe they just don't punt their PXs out to auction?Nice salt and pepper mills. They cost as much as a used Peugeot though.

Just bought a 407 diesel estate for peanuts, the good thing about large French cars is they depreciate horrendously making them a lot of car for the money compared to the equivalent A4 & 3 series. I'm actually really pleased with it!
I understand it's never going to set the road alight, but as a daily can't really ask for more for the price I paid for it!
